Everybody knows the first garment we should have come up with, was a leather jacket. But as you probably anticipated, we are not everybody. We didn’t want to rush into it; there were already enough average leather jackets in the market. First we wanted to prove ourselves what we were capable of, gain the “know how” needed to build a great piece, and not until we felt it was the right time we set ourselves to the task.

8 years later and after 2 years of development, we finally presented El Solitario’s vision of the perfect Leather Jacket. 

We called it Kraken, in homage to the fearless sea monster, as it was an incredibly hard exercise to mastercraft by hand in our small atelier. Designed not only to look like a top quality piece, but thinking about the smallest of the details so it performs as well as it looks.

When buying an El Solitario leather piece you are buying the most exclusive and sophisticated motorcycle leathers ever produced and a piece of our history. El Solitario leathers are hand made locally in our small atelier and only 3 persons touch, cut and sew our pieces, making them unique masterpieces of art, form and technique. This also means we cant have much stock and, although most orders are shipped within 4/5 days, exceptionally your order could take a couple of weeks.
