CHUPITO - Ducati

Chupito (shot in english) is a lightly modified special, built around a 1977 Ducati Road 350. The original bike was manufactured under Ducati license in Barcelona by Mototrans and was commissioned by one of our best friends, Edu, who is a 3D artist/movie designer, and a great tequila drinker. Being all his life surrounded by comics, monsters & superheroes, when we were asked to build him a small city bike to dribble around Madrid’s lights, we knew it would have to be fun from A to Z and very reliable, as the bike would be used daily.

The restoration was done thoroughly and almost everything was renovated, but always respecting the original patina when possible. The result is a funky little bike with lots of character and personality which the owner enjoys daily in his everyday commuting.

For us it was a very easy job and one of those in which you can relax and let energy flow. Since the first mock ups with Edu in the garage, he left us alone doing our thing. Build time was approximately 2 months, scattered in between our other, always more complex, projects.

Having Nico Ornamental at home for a few days to finish the bike was also an unforgettable experience, and he did a great job pushing the cheekiness of Chupito to a higher level. Respect the guy!
